The former coastguard tower has been transformed into a splendid apartment with breathtaking views out over both land and sea. The Kustwachttoren is located on the third, fourth and fifth floor of the former coastguard tower. On the third floor there is a completely equipped kitchen with an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and a breakfast table. Although The Kustwachttoren is pre-eminently suitable for two people, it is possible for two extra people to stay on the sofa bed on this floor. On the fourth floor of The Kustwachttoren, on the Huisduiner dike you will find the romantic bedroom and the picturesque bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin. The view out from the bathroom window is like a living painting. The fifth floor of The Kustwachttoren is the spot that, once you see it, you never want to leave. The Kustwachttoren is renovated in keeping with the original character, because of which you have a special view everywhere, irrespective of the weather conditions. The Razende Bol, the largest sand bank in the Netherlands, is literally right in front of the door. From the lovely sofa on this fifth floor you can take the binoculars and search for seals which, on summery days, enjoy the sun at the ?Bol?. If you look a little to the right you can see the isle of Texel in all its splendour. In the tastefully furnished living room in the Kustwachttoren there is also a lovely seating area and a solid dining table seating four. In the small kitchen there is a small fridge, a wash basin and you can also make coffee and tea here. Via the French doors you gain access to the broad balustrade which is constructed around the tower. Although it is very well possible to cook in the Torentje, it is very tempting to dine out. Right next to The Kustwachttoren you will find a restaurant and in the hotel at the foot of the dike you can also enjoy a delicious meal. In front of The Kustwachttoren is the Kijkduin fortress which also houses a wok restaurant. In addition to that, during the long sultry summer it is great to spend time at one of the nicest beach pavilions of the Noord-Holland coast: ?Lang sal die leven?. This pavilion is situated at the beginning of the Huisduiner beach, within a few hundred metres from this unique holiday address.
