This accommodation is situated in the Tuscan countryside of Colle Val d'Elsa, known worldwide for its crystal production. The apartment is located in the original parish church of San Martino, which dates from the beginning of the 12th century. The parish lies along the strategic route of Francigena and was formerly a place of rest for pilgrims, especially those traveling from France to Rome. Today the restored building consists of four independent apartments which have been lovingly and carefully decorated. On the right side of the building you'll find the remains of a massive tower, which once acted as a monitoring and warning station. Guests can use the nice pool with sun terrace and furniture. From here you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the valley. The beautifully landscaped garden contains outdoor furniture and a stone barbecue, not to mention a wonderful view of the Tuscan area. For sports fans, located just below the pool is a small sports complex for use by the guests. The owner produces Chianti wine and olive oil which you can sample and/or purchase. Facilities of the holiday complex also include a laundry and private parking.
