This rustic house is part of an authentic farm situated in the heart of Crete Senesiâ, southeast of Siena, in Tuscany. This unique area is like a lunar landscape of contiguous pale clay hills and treeless ravines. Each season the landscape offers its own colors yet is always tinted with the colors of the characteristic cypress trees. The farmhouse dates from Etruscan times and offers five accommodations. The owner grows and produces truffles, organic olive oil as well as organic fruits and vegetables. Facilities of the farm include a swimming pool with outdoor furniture, a wooded garden where you can enjoy a barbecue, a playground and a laundry. In the cellar you can attend a wine tasting course or sample the renowned local wines. The landlord can provide you with information regarding the most beautiful places and attractions in the region as well as organize horseback riding trips, mountain bike tours and hikes.
