The accommodation is perfect for families or groups of friends who are looking for a relaxing holiday. Le Edicole is also an ideal base for exploring the charms of the south-eastern part of Sicily: from the delightful baroque towns of Ragusa Ibla, Scicli, Modica, Noto and Syracuse to the characteristic fishing villages of Punta Secca (sandy beach at 14 km), Marina di Ragusa, Donnalucata, Portopalo and Marzamemi, which are renowned for their beautiful golden beaches, and from the archeological sites at Kamarina and Cava d'Ispica to the Vendicari nature reserve. Where once used to be three small houses, the property has recently been beautifully restored into one single building. Its original charm and rustic simplicity has been preserved and at the same time is in itself an art studio. The wonderful exterior provides terraces and dining areas for a lunch in the sun and dinner under the stars, and the well planned interior is both cosy and comfortable, equipped with original furniture. The property includes a large living room with ornamental fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, five bedrooms, one of which is situated in the adjacent annex, and four bathrooms.
