This farm is located in Serralunga di Crea in Alessandria, in the center of Monferrato, an area known for its rich history, magnificent wine and special white truffle! 'La Guazzaura' lies hidden in the countryside, surrounded by fields, vineyards and woods. This large farm has been owned by the same family since 1836. Prior to that an old-established Piedmont aristocratic family (with a fascinating history) lived here. The owners can relate fascinating stories about dukes, counts and princesses who once lived here. In the countryside everything is grown, including wine. Nearby (3 km) there is the beautiful church of Santuario di Crea - a historical church set in a magnificent park. Within a radius of 25 km you will find the cities of Asti, Casale Monferrato and Vercelli- all culturally very interesting. There are also organized wine tastings and truffle hunts.
