Bay Lodge is located on the quiet outskirts of Kenmare on the Beara Peninsula overlooking Kenmare Bay at Killaha East. It has a landscaped garden of 4500 m2. Bay Lodge (6 persons) is a luxury spacious house which is tastefully decorated and furnished to high standards (8 persons on request). Interior Large living room with dining area, a conservatory leading onto a patio area with barbecue and garden furniture. The open kitchen is fully equipped. There are four large bedrooms (one bedroom is on ground floor), with views of Kenmare Bay, Mc Gillicuddy Reeks and Killarney Mountains. The bedrooms are bright and have plenty storage. The beds are provided with beautiful bed linen. Environment Only 10 minutes away from Kenmare a historical bustling town with plenty shops, restaurants, pubs, galleries etc. The place to be for sightseeing offers many attractions. Kenmare is central for touring the Ring of Kerry and Ring of Beara, both giving access to magnificent sea and mountain scenery and its abounds with archaeological and historical sites, incl. the famous Healy Pass and Derreen Garden with subtropical vegetation. Only 40 km. away from Killarney National Park with 10.000 ha. of woodland. There is a Sailing and Adventure centre with plenty activities like, sailing, canoeing, boat and fishing trips etc. From Kenmare Pier you can start a cruise on the Kenmare River. For those interested there are two beautiful golf courses in Kenmare and for those like hiking there are five exhilarating hikes on the Wild Atlantic Way, enjoy here the beauty too.
