Over De Boschwachterij,

Romantic former forester's house for two, situated in a unique spot in the forested dunes of Noordwijk. Here you live completely free in the natural environment, on walking distance from the beach. Your holiday home was built in 1916 and fits perfectly in the wonderful garden, where you step into right from your bedroom. Forester's house De Boschwachterij is on government property, on the edge of the dunes just north of Noordwijk. The fairytale starts with a long driveway with trees along the side, that ends in front of the house at the forest's edge. The ground floor of the house is yours to use. Here you have a bright living room with a sitting area around the fireplace. There's even a separate animals corner. The spacious diner kitchen offers you all culinary facilities you need and has a wooden dining table, all in the house's style. By the partly covered court you reach the garden room. Here are two comfortable single beds. The compact and modern bathroom has a shower. There's also a fridge available in this room, as well as a tv set and through the folding doors you get into the garden. All around the house is a varied natural garden. In the front is the beautifully laid out flowering garden, on one side of the house is the herbal garden where you can pick all the herbs you need for the kitchen. At the back is a wooden terrace, a vegetable garden and deer´s pasture, where the deer tend to come to graze at sunset. Finally there's a sitting area on the Westside of the house where you can enjoy the evening sun. There's a bikeshed where you can safely put your bikes and there´s wireless internet available for you. Of course you can walk through the dunes to the beach or discover the vast dune area walking or cycling. The sophisticated beach resort Noordwijk is around the corner, as is the many sided hinterland with historical cities like Leyden, The Hague, Haarlem and Amsterdam
