There is a spacious garden behind the house measuring some 1000 m2 where children have lots of freedom to play. The garden includes a slide and a separate play area. You will be surprised by the warmth the house exudes when you first enter, which is mainly as a result of the great quantities of wood which dominate throughout the house. The ground floor is home to a living room with an attractive seating area and a nice play corner for the children. The open kitchen is made from recycled wood and is equipped with all modern comforts. There are also two ovens. The house is very suitable for children, as the owners have young children themselves too and have therefore taken this into consideration when furnishing the house. The first floor is home to three bedrooms, which all boast a balcony. One of the bedrooms is a real girl's bedroom and has a romantic bedstead. The second bedroom has a single bed and some steep wooden stairs which lead to a nice little atticroom with a single bed. There is also a separate little 'alcove' above the parents' bedroom, which can be reached via a staircase, from where you can enjoy beautiful views across the farmlands. In the souterrain you find a double room plus sauna/shower. Despite the fact that the property is situated on the edge of Bergen, the home enjoys a quiet location, but is not remote. The beach can be reached in just ten minutes by bicycle. You share the house with a lovely Cat.
