Over Aan De Waterkant,

This new, comfortable holiday home is situated right by the Noordhollands Kanaal (canal), on the edge of the welcoming village of Akersloot. A wonderful spot for water lovers and cyclists: the canal connects directly with the Alkmaardermeer lake, where you can go sailing, fishing and swimming (small boats and surf boards are available for rent). For the cyclists there is the beautiful Pontjesroute (small ferry route); an absolute must! Taking in some culture is possible in the historic cheese town of Alkmaar. You can even hop on the boat in front of your holiday home which will take you directly to the cheese market! The beaches of Castricum and Egmond aan Zee are within easy reach by bicycle or car. On the ground floor you will find a spacious living room with the comfortable kitchen as the central point of the house. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor. This bedroom has its own luxurious bathroom with a bathtub, shower and toilet. The other four bedrooms are on the first floor, each with their own washbasin. On the first floor there is also a bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet. At the rear side of the holiday home you will find a wonderful terrace with garden furniture. The children can play undisturbed. Although the plot is fenced off, we consider this holiday location less suitable for young children because of the closeness of the water and the road nearby. Approximately fifty metres from your holiday home there are two sweet donkeys, a goat and a Shetland pony, which normally provide a nice surprise for the children. It is also possible to hire canoes and electrical bicycles.
