A former farmhouse was beautifully rebuilt into this house for upto thirteen persons. Here you can fully enjoy the space, quiet and comfort. Inside and around the house (fireplace, sauna, private swimming pool) but in the surroundings as well. The green and hilly landscape of the south of Limburg borders your backyard and the historic city of Maastricht is just ten minutes away. Something here for everyone in all seasons! House Moorveldsberg is situated on top of a hill with the same name just outside the South-Limburg village of Geulle. The former farmhouse has developed into a most comfortable house over the years and the owners have made sure that you shall want for nothing here. First and foremost this house offers you lots of space and atmosphere and even when you stay here with a larger group you will never get in eachothers way. On the ground floor is the spacious livingroom - big but cosy, because of the stone floor, the authentic wooden beams and ofcourse the fireplace. The sitting area is comfortable and musicians can have their fun at the grand piano. From the long dining table you have a view on the swimming pool and the sunny garden, that you can reach through the two sliding doors. The half open kitchen is compact but fully equipped and has its own breakfast table for five. Three of the bedrooms are downstairs: the masterbedroom with a double bed and two rooms with a single bed. The first bathroom with a bath and shower is on this floor as well. On the first floor are two bedrooms with a double bed, one very spacious bedroom with two single beds and in two adjoining parts of the recently renovated attic are one single bed and one double bed. There's a bathroom with shower on this floor. The swimming pool can be used throughout the year, in wintertime however mostly to cool down after visiting the sauna, which is in the former barn. Here you'll find a side kitchen too. The garden offers you plenty of possibilities to enjoy the sun and the children can play on the lawn, use the swing or the trampoline. In the bikeshed are seven bicycles that the owners put at your disposal. Finally, in the back of the garden, you'll find the henhouse. These animals will be taken care of, but if you like to feed them yourself (or your kids) please report this when you arrive. And last but not least: you share the house with a sweet cat that needs to be tended.
