If you are more of a beach lover, then you will certainly be able to enjoy yourself at the Ijsselmeer beach (approximately 1 km away). There is plenty of space for flying kites on the dike and cyclists can make some wonderful trips through the Gaasterland forests. The welcoming Chalet De Lemmer is furnished in a maritime style. There is an open-plan kitchen and a living room with a view across the water. In the chalet you will also find two bedrooms and a nice bathroom with a bathtub and a separate shower. Then you can simply hire a sloop, tour or fishing boat via the park, which can be moored up at your holiday home. The park also boasts its own restaurant called 'De Eerste Aanleg', which is once again situated directly at the water's edge.
