The park is situated along the banks of the nature area De Alde Feanen, a beautiful and water rich nature area which is perfect for a fantastic water sports holiday, but also for some lovely short or longer bike rides or walks. The De Alde Feanen visitors centre is located at the entrance to the park, as is the Friesian Agricultural Museum. The site also boasts a restaurant, terrace on the waterfront, a cosy ship's bar, All Weather Tennis Courts and bicycle and boat rentals. You can make use of the outdoor swimming pool with a separate children's pool, a snack bar and a park shop on the adjacent camp site. The cosy water sports village of Eernewoude, which you can reach by ferry from the park, develops into a bustling water sports centre during the summer months. You can simply hang out, enjoy the 'skutsjesilen' (racing with special Friesian boats) or various other activities. You will find the Friesian capital Leeuwarden just 15 km away. Hindeloopen and Stavoren are also well worth a visit.
