The holiday apartment Irene is located in Ellscheid, a wooded and landscaped village in the heart of the Eifel region, between Trier and Koblenz, which are both less than an hour's drive away from your accommodation. The many attractions of these two towns are highly recommended for day trips. At a13 km distance there is the town of Daun, where you will find the so-called Geo-information centre with many interesting exhibits and you can learn a lot about the Eifel. The volcanic lakes that characterise this area are located within a radius of 10 km. There you can swim, rent a boat or go hiking. But you can also access the wine region on the Mosel in no time, where you will find a very different landscape. In short, there is plenty to do for every day. But this holiday home is also suitable for just relaxing in a deck chair. On the outside you dispose of a covered terrace with views over the rolling countryside. The well-maintained apartment is basic but nicely furnished. The friendly landlord, who lives in the apartment above, will be happy to provide good tips for excursions, in order to discover one of the most scenic areas of Germany.
