The park is ringed by extensive meadows and lies at the edge of the picturesque small town of Eisenärzt. The scenic landscape invites the visitor to go on long romantic strolls or on more active hikes and bike rides. The Chiemsee is around 25 km away and the view of the landscape is dominated by the splendid Bavarian Alps. Munich is about 1 hour away.
