The cottage Le Clignon is located in the small town of Veuilly la Poterie, at 15 km to the west of Chateau Thierry. Nearby are numerous attractive destinations such as Euro Disney, Parc Asterix and Mer de Sable. Even Paris is easily accessible from your accommodation. Some tens of kilometers to the northeast of Paris the Aisne region forms the so-called 'green lung' for millions of residents of the Ile de France. Explore the Marne Valley, with its numerous fish-rich side arms, and the "Route du Champagne" through the world-famous vineyards. Also located nearby is the old town of Soissons which was once the royal capital of the then Frankish Empire back in the Middle Ages. Today, you can still admire one of the most beautiful cathedrals of the country. In this versatile hiking and biking area you will be staying in a renovated spacious and cosy cottage in the middle of this little sleepy village, centrally located next to the church and town hall.
