Beautiful villa, located just steps away from the Medieval village of Saint-Victor la Coste, near Avignon, Uzes, Nimes and Orange. The villa is located in a quiet hamlet on a garden of 1000m2 and offers a private swimming pool 8x4m with security cover. Possible to heat the pool (from mid-April to mid-October - depending on the weatherconditions). You will discover the benefits of modern comfort and a contemporary decoration. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets, 2 bathrooms with bath or shower, a kitchen opening onto a living / dining room. For the outside: a covered terrace with dining area (table with benches), BBQ, terrace with sun beds and a private parking .. Interior: Ground floor: Entrance, toilet, lounge / dining room, kitchen, master bedroom with en suite bathroom (walk-in shower, basin and towel drying rack). Floor: two bedrooms, bathroom with bath / shower, double sink, towel drying rack, seperate toilet. Beds: two bedrooms with twin beds (1.80 x 2.00) and one bedroom with twin beds (160 x 2.00) that can be made as double or single beds (please indicate at the time of booking). (On the first floor is a 3th bedroom but this room is locked for the owner). Note: * Min 2 weeks in July/Aug. Village Area: Saint Victor la Coste is a pretty typical southern French village, situated on a hill in the Cote du Rhone region, on the edge of Provence, about 1 hour from the beaches of the Mediterranean. This area, between Nimes and Avignon, not far from the Camargue, offers a rich variety of landscapes. The village has kept his charm over time, with its ancient streets and 19-century houses around the square and on top of the mountain a medieval castle ruin. Around the village the vineyards stretching all the way to the foot of the hill. The grapes do here throughout the summer season, holding the Provencal Sun The wines from this region are also great .. We can advise you a number of wineries in the area to visit. To the south the rolling hills towards the Mediterranean, an area also known as "garrigue". North of Saint Victor la Coste is the river Ardèche with the famous Gorges de l'Ardeche, where you can make beautiful trips to see breathtaking views or wher you can make canoeing adventures. The nearer river "Cèze is also ideal for canoeing. Across the region almost every village is worth a visit and you can walk a lot. No wonder this area has always had a strong appeal to painters and artists. Don't forget to taste the local specialties such as fine wines, goat cheeses, olive oil and dried sausages .. The market in Uzès (23 km) on Saturday or Wednesday morning, is a perfect place to get more familliar with them! Golf: For the golfers amongst you, the golf clubs in Orange (9-holes) and Uzes (9-holes) are within half hour drive. Around Avignon (about 30 to 40 minutes away) are several 6 - / 9 - and 18-hole courses and in Nimes you can have one 18-hole course (approx 45 min drive). Plenty of choice so .. Tips: For canoeing and swimming in the clear waters of a river you can visit the Cèze river at Goudargues, approx 30 min drive. With a little searching you will find here peaceful pebble beaches where you can enjoy a picnic on the waterfront. In the friendly village of Goudargues you'll find canoe rentals and several terraces and a wide choice of restaurants. We encourage you also to take a look at the falls "Les Cascades the Sautadet" in the neighboring village of La Roque sur Cèze .. This village has been declared "one of France's prettiest villages. The famous Gorges de l'Ardeche are about 60 km. You can canoe from Vallon Pont d'Arc, or just make a day trip by car along this beautiful river gorge. For the little ones: nearby you'll find the amusementparc Amazonia (at 14 km) for kids from 4-12 yrs you can find obstacle courses and waterfun around the theme of the Aztecs and Maya. Another attraction (with or without kids) is the steam train from the Cevennes: 13 dreamkilometers from Anduze to Saint Jean du Gard (about 1 hour drive). In Anduze you'll like to visit the largest bamboo forest in Europe, the Bambouseraie de France. In the same neighborhood, near Alès, find a tree climbing parc where young and old can enjoy themselves (Accrobranche of Bagard, approximately 60 km).
