This cosy and comfortable holiday home is situated on the edge of a quiet, authentic French village between Anduze and Saint Hippolyte du Fort and offers room for 12 up to 14 persons (2 babies included). With Nîmes, Montpellier(50km) and Alès (25km) in the vicinity makes this house perfectly situated for multiple families who love nature and serenity. Interior: You enter the house in the spacious living with two sofa's and two armchairs around the fireplace. There is a dining area with dining table and 8 chairs(there are more chairs available in the house). Very equipped kitchen with a five pit gas cooker, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, water boiler, coffee machine, Senseo, toaster, food processor and more. On the sideboard a collection of herbs, olive oil bottles and baskets with dish towels, table cloths and placemats. Throughout the entrance you also have access to two bedrooms; one of them with double bed(160X200) and the other with two single beds(2X 0.80X200). A bathroom with shower and a double sink. The lavatory is situated in a separate room. The stairway leads to the first floor with a large passage and a small sitting corner with TV and DVD player. Here are the remaining 4 bedrooms situated; one of them has 2 single beds(2X 0.80X200) and the remaining 3 al have one double bed(160X200). The second bathroom also has a shower and a double sink. The lavatory is in a separate room. There is also a laundry room with washer, dryer and ironing possibilities. In one of the rooms is a wooden child's bedstead. The beds are made on your arrival. The accommodation is family friendly furnished; a wooden child's bedstead, baby bath, potty, mat, box and a baby bouncer. In other words a complete nursery! (Also available; children's dinner set). But there's more! The owner has put more items for your disposal(kids+adults). How about a stepping tractor, tennis table and sandbox.. On request: a paddling pool (diameter of 4.5m) with a supplement of 100€ per week.The house is located across a playground with basketball field, football-area and a place for the toddlers. Exterior: You can reach the beautiful covered terrace by going through the folding doors in the living room. The terrace has a large table with six director chairs. There's also a barbecue and a hammock. In the garden are two deckchairs and an outside shower. On the other side of the house is a large shed.(with a workshop of 100m2 were the tennis table is situated) So even when the weather is not what you expected the children and you will still have a great time. Next to the shed is an area for the storage of firewood. On the courtyard between the house and the shed is another sitting area situated with two benches and a table. A perfect please to sit, relax and enjoy the beautiful environment underneath the Mulberry trees. Environment: For the bakery, a restaurant (typical French cuisine) and the local bar you can visit the village that is located within 300m. The nearest supermarket is in Saint Hippolyte du Fort. Who doesn't like to swim or paddle in the crystal clear waters of Gardon? The Roman aqueduct Pont du Gard and the 16th-century Pont Saint-Nicolas are two historic bridges that cross the Gardon. The Gorge du Gardon, which ends at Pont Saint-Nicolas, is a popular recreation area for kayaking, canoeing, rock climbing, and hiking. You can reach Gardon within 15 minutes by car. If you're in the are you should really visit Anduze. It is a picturesque town, with narrow streets lined with medieval houses, opening onto open squares. The clock tower, dating from 1320 and part of the original defensive ramparts of the town (since destroyed) can still be seen, as can the original grain hall dating from the 15th century. The bamboo garden at Prafrance is close by and worth a visit, and a little further north the caves at Grotte de Trabuc are a great way to escape the heat of the day.
