Holiday home Cézanne, near Saint Saud Lacoussiere, consists of a stately completely restored mansion with three floors and a beautiful swimming pool at a short distance from the lake. The apartment Cezanne (max.10 persons and 2 babies) is situated in the right wing and the apartment Renoir (max. 10 persons and 2 babys) in the left wing. The accommodation is surrounded by meadows and forests. There is a large recreational lake (Le Grand Etang) with a sandy beach, where you can swim, at a few minutes walking distance. Interior Ground floor hall, entrance hall, living room with a fully equipped kitchen (dischwasher, microwave, fridge freezer (3 drawers), gas hob, electric kettle, coffee maker), bathroom with toilet and a double bedroom. This part of the ground floor is accessible for disabled/elderly. 1e etage 2 double bed rooms, bathroom, separate toilet. 2e etage 2 double bed rooms (one with bunk bed), bathroom with seperate toilet. Bedroom with baby bed. There is a cot, highchair and baby bath. available. The house is heated by means of central heating. There is washing machine and dryer at your disposal in a separate room. There is wireless internet and satelite tv with some English channels. There is a private parking next to the apartment. Smoking inside the apartment is not allowed. Outside The mansieon is surrounded by a beautifully landcaped garden with paths and lighting. Beautiful lawns where you can sunbathe or play, a garden house with classical music, a waterfall, a fountain, a swimming pool (7mx14m) a children pool (5m x 5m). There are provisions for various activities including jeux de boules, table tennis, large mikado game, badminton, darts,swing,voleyball and swimming.A covered area (16m x 16m) with a bar, TV room for the chilren, garden furniture in several places and two large barbecues and plancha. Surroundings There is a large recreational lake (Le Grand Etang) with a sandy beach, where you can swim, at a few minutes walking distance. There is a lifequard present and the Brasserie Le Grand Etang is open during the season. Saint Saud has all necessary facilities such as a post office, pharmacy, bakery, butcher, small supermarket, 3 hotels/resturants, cafe's, hairdresser, petrol station and garage, a tennis court. Activities A visit to Brantome, the caves of Villars, various castles, the pictureque town of St Jean de Cole, several weekly markets in the pretty villages. You will find well marked hiking trails in the region and evere weekend there is an event in the vicinity. Saint Saud is known for its Fete de Cepe (Mushroom festival) the first sunday of October. Chips and entrecote around the Grand Etang on August 14. At 60 km the capital of the Dordogne Periqueux a city you must visit. The old city center with its lively shopping streets, terraces, restaurans (in every price range) and exclusive fashion shops. For China and porcelain you should go to Limoges, at about an hour drive from Saint Saud.
