Over Vacation Home Maizeray

The holiday house Maizeray is located in the hamlet of the same name, outside the village of Saint-Martin-du-Tartre, at 30 km to the southwest of Chalon-Sur-Saône and 30 km to the west of Tournus. The gentle landscape is dominated by fields and pastures, charming traditional villages, castles or their remains, which testify to the long medieval history in this part of Burgundy. The world-famous Cormatin castle, to which the Presidents Mitterrand and Gorbachev paid a visit before you is not far away, just like other tourist attractions, such as the Benedictine Abbey of Cluny and the ancient town centre of Buxy. Along the "Voie Verte", you can explore and discover the area extensively in your own time and pace. This is a 120 km long hiking and biking trail which has been created on the (almost flat) routes of the former railway lines that once crossed this region. The cosy and bright holiday home has been renovated in a modern and comfortable manor. The house is located on a hill, on which you will also find the house of the landlords. It is a working couple and they are not at home very often. In addition, the houses have been arranged in such a way, that everyone's privacy is guaranteed. A large part of the entire property Maizeray, consists of a beautiful garden with lawn, which you may also use and where the children can play.
