Over Duinhuys,

The Duinhuys holiday home is situated in a very favourable location, only a few metres from the sea and right by the dunes in Oostende. You will have your own garden. Duinhuys is part of a former military hospital, which makes this holiday home totally unique. It was completely refurnished and renovated in 2012, maintaining all the authentic elements. Via the authentic hallway with high doors you gain access to the living room with its 4 metre high ceiling and large windows which create a lot of space and light. The large open-plan kitchen is comfortable and there is also a welcoming bar-table. Via the living room you can get to your private garden where you can, among other things, enjoy a nice barbecue. In addition Duinhuys has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower. The welcoming fishing harbour of Oostende is situated within walking distance of the Duinhuys holiday home, as is the bustling centre (which can be reached via a nice small ferry). If you would like to experience a more military atmosphere then you can walk to Fort Napoleon, an authentic fortress and also excellent restaurant, no less than 200 metres away. Furthermore you will find two golf courses (one of which is the well-known Koninklijke Golfclub Oostende) in the near vicinity, as well as a horse-race track, a subtropical swimming paradise and a marina. You can practise various water sports at the Surf Club “Twins Club”. A day out to the city of Bruges is also an option.
