In the pedestrian area of the centre you can stroll past the sidewalk cafés and shops. The area is not only famous for all kinds of outdoor sports that you can practice here, but also for its castles. The castle 'Rada Desj' in Grand-Han, the fortress of La Roche and a little further away the famous castle of Modave can all be visited throughout the year. The caves of 1001 Nights in Hotton are only 10 km away. They are very well preserved because they have only become accessible to the public in recent decades.
