Over Le Menhir

With the holiday home Le Menhir you will be occupying a renovated mansion which is located right in the heart of Wéris, one of the most beautiful villages of Wallonia at just 10 km from Durbuy. Wéris has well preserved its original style over the years. In the area around the village you will find more than 4000 year old megalithic tombs and menhirs (standing stones). Along the valleys of the Ourthe River and its tributary, the Aisne, you can go hiking, cycling and horse riding. You will be amazed by the many beautiful vantage points that you get to see, very often quite unexpectedly. Of course, you should pay a visit to Durbuy, the second-smallest town in the world, and don't forget to visit the castle of La Roche-en-Ardenne and the Hotton Caves during your stay. At just 200 meters from your holiday home you'll find some nice restaurants and cafes. The kids can romp around and play on the lawn at the mansion. The house Le Menhir is primarily intended for family groups. However, non-family groups may be accepted with the consent of the owner and with a possible additional deposit. Groups of persons under 30 years are strictly not permitted.
