Over Gîte A L'Abri,

The Gite à l'Abri of Ardennes is an authentic, eighteenth century farm in the afforested area of Brisy, in the Belgian Ardennes. Here, near the border of Luxembourg, you will find yourself between the towns of Gouvy and Houffalize. The holiday home is situated by a river and you can make use of various facilities, such as a petanque court, a badminton platz, a room with a pool table and a recreational space. The group accommodation is furnished in a French Ardennes style. There are two living sections, each with a welcoming seating area. One of these living rooms comes with a cosy woodstove and a large dining table. The separate kitchen is fully equipped. In the two bathrooms you will find a shower and three wash basins. In the recreational space there is a table-tennis table, a table-top football game, an air-hockey game, a darts board and there is a separate children´s corner. Outside there's a large garden with a barbecue and a bread and pizza oven at your disposal. The house is situated in the middle of the Parc Naturel des Deux Ourthes. In the near surroundings you can take extensive walks or mountain-bike trips; many cycling and so-called ´ravelpaden´ (special paths only for slow traffic like walkers and cyclists), start right from your holiday home. In addition you can play golf, go kayaking, enjoy a game of paintball, go climbing, skiing, swimming and country-cross skiing.
