The distance from the house to the Lauwersmeer beaches is approximately 500 meters. The village of Anjum is 3 km from Oostmahorn and is where you will find a butcher, baker and supermarket. Opposite the park there is Esonstad with its old Frisian style houses. There are also shops, a supermarket, a snack bar and restaurants.
