, The masseria “Mandorlo” used to be part of the ancient Masseria Galante, an was recently brought back to its ancient splendour. There are 4 buildings which are a part of the masseria complex: two beautiful villas with a shared pool which are rented out, a large room built in local stone which the villa clients can use for events or simply to relax in with a book on a hot summer's day. The masseria is positioned right behind the walls of the historic town of Ceglie Messapica, famous for its gastronomy and art, built around the XV century. The historic centre is in walking distance and has many baroque churches situated in the narrow streets with its ancient 'chianche' stone slabs. During the summer season through to autumn, there are many music, food and religious festivals. Local restaurants, serving local food are easily reached by foot. The masseria is about 10 km from Ostuni (the White City), and 17 km from the beautiful Blue flag beaches. There are two attractive villas within the masseria complex used for rental purposes. Villa Mandorlo Grande: 110 square metres, consisting of a living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower and bidet, large living room with dining area, and sitting room with sofa bed.The kitchen is equipped with: large fridge, dish-washer, fan assisted oven, cooker, microwave oven, hairdryer and television. The kitchen opens out onto a private orange and lemon grove; the bedrooms open up onto the pool area. The bedrooms have air-conditioning and underfloor heating. Villa Mandorlo Piccola has a surface area of around 55 square metres, with living room, two bedrooms, and bathroom with shower ad bidet. The kitchen is equipped with an electric hob, microwave oven, and the bathroom has a hairdryer, tv, and private patio. The bedrooms look onto the pool, and each have air-conditioning and under floor heating. The villas have exclusive use of the infinity pool with jacuzzi, measuring 6x15 m. There are fruit trees and lawns around the pool area, and plenty of parking space. The olive grove produces organic olive oil. The property is secure with fencing, electric gate and independent alarm systems. Pets are not permitted. The owners of the properties are on hand to personally check their guests in and out, and discretely assist guests during their stay. They speak Italian, French and Spanish.
