Eilish Cottage is a 100 year old traditional Irish dwelling house and is renovated in 1999. Eilish Cottage is a natural stone house where the original stone is still to be seen at the front of the house and inside. In a wonderful setting high above the harbour, surrounded by woodland, mountains and rocky countryside with magnificent views. Interior The living room brims with character, displays beems, wooden floors and a large woodstove. The kitchen features modern appliances and a good range of equipment. The bedrooms on first floor are furnished with pine beds and the beds are made up with beautiful bed linen. Environment The ideal place for nature lovers for walks, fishing, swimming etc and touring the famous Ring of Beara and Ring of Kerry, both giving access to magnificent sea and mountain scenery incl. Derreen Garden, with lush sub tropical vegetation and the Healy Pass through rugged mountains with breathtaking views. The Beara Peninsula is a grand day out, visit the many Galleries on your tour. For those interested there is a golf course in Kenmare and Castletownbere only 25 minutes drive and for those like hiking there are five exhilarating hikes on the Wild Atlantic Way, enjoy here the beauty too.
