Over 't Boswachtershuis,

The unique 't Boswachtershuis holiday home is situated on a country estate of 250 hectares on the North side of the Veluwe. The country estate is an oasis of peace and quiet and has an unusual wealth of fauna and flora. The silent beauty makes this into a true paradise for the nature lover. So don't be surprised, during a walk through the woodlands, if you suddenly find yourself eye to eye with a (red) deer. If you have a Golf proficiency Certificate, then as a resident of the 't Boswachtershuis you can make use of the 'moorland golf course' free of charge; a unique experience in one of the few private golf courses in the Netherlands. This house, a former forest ranger´s house, is characterised by many original details and is equipped with all modern conveniences. On entering into the hall of the 't Boswachtershuis the space and amount of light will immediately catch your eye. The comfortable living room has a spacious seating area, where you can read a good book in peace and quiet in front of the woodstove. In the fully equipped kitchen you can prepare a wonderful dinner which can be served on original 'boerenbont' crockery (typical Dutch crockery). On the first floor of your holiday home there are four comfortably furnished bedrooms and a bathroom with bathtub and separate shower. 't Boswachtershuis has no less than four toilets, because as the author of the book How to run a stately home said: 'You can never have too many.' The 't Boswachtershuis holiday home is surrounded by a sunny terrace with a lawn and a meadow (previously the vegetable garden), which can also serve as a football field. While you are enjoying the sunshine and a nice glass of wine, the children can play to their hearts´ content. Do you feel like being active? A game of tennis is also one of the options at this country estate. If you like to get away from all the hustle and bustle and breath some fresh air in the middle of the Veluwe woodlands, then you have come to the right place at this lovely country estate. 't Boswachtershuis can also be booked (on request) in combination with 't Wallerhuis. This holiday home is suitable for sixteen people and can also be found on the country estate.
